Platform maintenance

In order to modernise and improve IOPscience, a small number of features will be temporarily unavailable with some being withdrawn completely where usage is low, or alternatives are available. This is necessary to enable us to replace old technologies with modern, secure, scalable cloud services with improved performance and reliability.

Features being updated: temporarily unavailable

  • 'Most Cited' and 'Most Read' article lists on all journal homepages
  • 'Related links' on new articles published by AAS, published from February 2022
  • Article and Video download counts on Article page

Features being withdrawn

  • RSS Feeds for journals table of contents
  • Citation alerts by email
  • STACKS NLM3 data feeds service (please note that we have contacted affected users individually)

We will be focussed on minimising the disruption for users as much as possible, but please contact customerservices@ioppublishing.org if you have any questions or would like to discuss the maintenance of the site in more detail.
